

Joining Digital Garage in 2013, Yohei was responsible for financial institutions such as banks and credit card companies, focusing on digital marketing support centered on internet advertising. After leaving the company in 2018, he relocated to Israel to study Jewish business culture, negotiation techniques, and the global startup ecosystem. During his time there, he deepened his connections with multiple startups, universities, and venture capital firms under the guidance of local venture capitalists. In 2020, he founded GESHER Inc. and assumed the role of CEO. He has also completed the M&A Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.


After graduating from the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Engineering, Koji worked as a program director at NHK (Japanese Broadcasting Corporation), leading content production and digital service initiatives. He then conducted research at MIT Media Lab in the US and built a social media marketing team at Amazon Prime Video. After overseeing domestic and global marketing at a SaaS startup, he joined GESHER in May 2025 as the Head of Corporate Marketing, and became COO in March 2026. He also lectures at Globis and serves as Vice President of the Japan International Youth Exchange Organization. He holds a Master’s in International Business Administration from the University of Tsukuba.


Ilya began his career at Funai Consulting, where he worked on new business development for domestic SMEs. In 2020, he joined a construction project management firm and served as a project manager on large-scale PPP infrastructure projects in developing countries. After gaining experience in translation at an IT company, he joined an investment firm in 2023, where he managed multi-million-dollar international projects and developed new ventures. Having also worked in an M&A intermediary, he joined GESHER in November 2025 as the General Manager of the Strategy & Advisory Division.


After graduating from Rikkyo University with a degree in Literature, Taiga worked at Digital Garage, where he was involved in advertising sales and operations in a wide range of industries, including education, cosmetics, health foods, apps, and BtoB. In addition, he introduces ad technology from overseas, conducts overseas market research, and expands sales of advertising measures in local media.


After graduating from Doshisha University with a degree in Humanities, Yuki joined a HR company and was involved in launching a new business. Since August 2021, she has been working at GESHER, focusing on B2B sales and digital advertising in the recruitment marketing domain. She specializes in building strong, trust-based client relationships and driving continuous improvement. Currently serving as a manager, she also leads team member development and work on optimizing internal operations through process design and system implementation.


With over 20 years of experience in the digital media and digital marketing industries, Koji has held a range of leadership positions, including Editor-in-Chief of ITmedia Enterprise and ITmedia Marketing at ITmedia Inc.; Launch Producer of DIGIDAY Japan and Founding Editor-in-Chief of Business Insider Japan at Infobahn Inc.; and Chief Editor at Hatena Co., Ltd. Drawing on his extensive experience in launching and managing digital media businesses, Koji supports clients in developing digital marketing strategies, building media platforms, and strengthening their organizations.


With a bachelor’s degree from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and a Master’s in Computer Science from Keio University, Christoffer's background spans both technology and education. Experience includes analyzing customer data as a systems engineer at Panasonic, as well as roles in English teaching and customer support. Currently working as a global researcher at GESHER, he brings a diverse and international perspective to the role.


Aung moved to Japan in 2024 to join GESHER. His main focus is on building in-house products and working on web development projects that integrate AI. With 7 years of experience in web development, he brings a strong balance of technical expertise and user-centered thinking to his work. He is dedicated to improving the productivity of GESHER members by developing in-house tools that support a more efficient and impactful working environment.


After graduating from a university in Australia, Daichi pursued a career in an industry where he could leverage his international perspective and joined a travel agency. He worked at Haneda Airport, where he enhanced his customer service and adaptability through communication with customers from various nationalities. In July 2023, He joined GESHER, where he has been responsible for sales and advertising operations in the field of digital marketing targeting overseas markets. Currently, he utilizes English skills and international experience to manage advertising operations and provide optimization proposals for global clients, contributing to tangible results.


After graduating from university, Honoka began her career as a new graduate at a regional bank, where she was responsible for personal banking operations. Motivated by a strong interest in China’s unique blend of rapid economic development and ongoing complexity, she made the decision to resign and pursue studies abroad. She studied at East China Normal University in Shanghai, and upon returning to Japan, joined a web advertising agency as an account planner. She later became a member of GESHER, where she works alongside clients to uncover and address the core issues behind their marketing challenges, always striving to approach each project from their perspective.


After working at a company within the NTT DOCOMO Group, Hiroya joined GREE, Inc., where he conducted legal reviews in the Quality Management Department and was involved in new project development and management as a planner in the gaming business. He later moved to the digital advertising division, managing digital advertising campaigns, SSP monetization, and monthly revenues of several hundred million yen. He subsequently joined Unity Technologies Japan, a global IT company, where he led revenue optimization initiatives generating tens of millions of yen per month and oversaw the onboarding of major clients. Leveraging his multifaceted perspective and strong problem-solving capabilities, Hiroya joined GESHER, Inc. in July 2026.


Adrian holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Hawaii and began his career at Hawaii’s largest grocery retailer, leading packaging design for a private-label brand. After moving to Japan, he joined a creative agency as an Art Director, designing and developing websites for Japanese and international clients. At GESHER, he contributes to various creative initiatives and looks forward to helping strengthen the brand’s identity.


Originally from Taiwan, Shih-bo began his career as a designer in 2007 after graduating from the Department of Industrial Design at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. He later earned a master’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. After working at AECOM, one of the world’s leading design consultancies, and other organizations, he gained extensive professional experience across multiple countries and regions before joining GESHER, Inc. in July 2026. Drawing on more than 15 years of experience, Shih-bo has worked across a wide range of fields, from urban planning and corporate branding to UI/UX design. His strengths lie in his global communication skills, fluency in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and logical, strategic approach to design.


Originally from Myanmar, and a graduate of the University of Yangon, Su gained experience at media companies and NGOs before moving to Japan in 2022. She earned a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Political Science at Waseda University. Currently working as a Business Consultant, she specializes in M&A advisory and conducts advanced research in technology, finance, and environmental sustainability. In addition, she is engaged in building networks that connect overseas startups with Japanese companies.


As a Business Consultant at GESHER Inc., Chai helps Japanese and international corporations and startups drive global innovation through strategic partnerships and M&A. Originally from India, she holds an Engineering background in Nanotechnology and came to Japan in 2019 to pursue a PhD in Structural Biology at Kyoto University. With strong R&D experience collaborating with government organizations and research institutions in India, she now applies this analytical mindset to solving complex business challenges. She focuses on identifying emerging technologies, evaluating cross-border opportunities, and driving growth across sectors including materials, life sciences and digital industries.


After seven years of volunteering at AFS, Dimas decided to pursue his passion for bridging people and business. In 2020, he enrolled at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, majoring in International Relations. During his studies, he managed the university’s largest stage performance with 1,500 attendees and took 1st place for the Japan round of Hult Prize, representing Japan at the Global Summit. After graduation, he joined a startup in Nagoya as a Strategy and HR consultant, successfully launching an overseas licensing project for a Japan-originated IP to Indonesia. In 2025, he joined GESHER as a business consultant, focusing on Japan-side business development.


After graduating from university, Noriko worked at a full-service advertising agency as a media representative and account executive, engaging in a wide range of responsibilities. She supported the marketing activities of both domestic and international brands—including global entertainment companies and sports manufacturers—providing end-to-end support from strategic planning through execution. She joined GESHER in November 2025, where she leverages the extensive media expertise and marketing perspective she has developed throughout her career to deliver optimal, client-centric solutions tailored to each brand’s challenges.


Mimi Lam holds a BA in Marketing from the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom. With over 10 years of experience spanning project management, sales, and marketing coordination across American and multinational companies, she excels in bridging business development with cross-functional execution. Fluent in Japanese, English, and Cantonese, she brings a global, commercially driven approach to GESHER.


After earning a degree in Business and Economics from Nagoya University, Sachiko built her career at leading international and domestic hotel groups, managing a wide range of operations from front-of-house services to administration, with a primary focus on accounting. In 2024, she transitioned into the tech industry as a web designer and front-end coder at a web marketing company, where she worked mainly with medical institutions and aesthetic clinics. Since her university years, she has gained international experience through study abroad programs and professional work in Switzerland, the United States, and various Asian countries. She joined GESHER Inc. in June 2026.
