The future we envision is "International 2.0, a world that celebrates the individuality born from borders, connects those differences, and transforms them into new value. It s a society that redefines the trade-based International movement and the Global/Borderless ideals that erase diversity. Not unification, but combination. Not sameness, but synergy. This is the new standard of going beyond borders.
At GESHER, we embrace the spirit of Tsumiki (Japanese for wooden blocks)—where diverse pieces create something greater than any single part by building bridges between Japan's strengths and global ideas to unlock new potential, spark innovation, and shape a brighter future together.

Our greatest point of uniqueness—building an organization composed of multinational members—has been present since our founding in 2020, when I started the company on my own. The three employees who joined us in our founding year were Japanese, Swedish, and Hong Konger. This was not a coincidence; from the very beginning, we set out to build an organization with diversity as a given.
Today, in 2026, our headcount has grown, yet the proportion of non-Japanese employees remains exceptionally high by Japanese corporate standards. The foundation of our organization lies in diverse cultures, values, and the individuality of each person. We express this idea as TSUMIKI (wooden building blocks).
Rather than forcing everything into the same shape, we focus on how different shapes can be combined. Not unification, but editing and recomposition—this is how strong structures are built. What we aim for is not simply aligning ourselves to global norms (“global-less”). Instead, we seek to transcend borders with our own ideas, experiences, and cultures, and to make those the next standard.
Like TSUMIKI, by connecting people with people and cultures with cultures, we will continue to create new forms of organization that bridge Japan and the world.
