Basic Policy on the Protection of Personal Information

At GESHER, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), we recognize that personal information constitutes an important part of our customers’ privacy. Handling of Personal Information

The following outlines how we handle personal information acquired and retained for the provision of our services (including sourcing & advisory and marketing DX services, collectively referred to as “the Services”).

5. Provision of personal information to third parties

We will not provide personal data to third parties without the user’s prior consent unless required by law or in the following cases:

② When a user violates our Terms of Use or Privacy Policy, and disclosure is necessary to protect the Company’s rights or assets

Providing personal information is voluntary. However, failure to provide certain details may impact the hiring selection process.

① Ensuring accuracy
We will keep personal data accurate and up to date within the necessary scope and will delete it when no longer needed.

② Supervision of employees
We educate employees on proper handling of personal information and provide appropriate supervision.

③ Supervision of contractors
We select contractors with appropriate security measures and supervise them properly.

④ Use of anonymized statistical data
We may create statistical data that cannot identify individuals and use it freely.

8. Use of cookies and related technologies

① We may use cookies and similar technologies for service provision. This may include collecting information such as cookie IDs, ad views, and usage environments to analyze and improve our services.

② Users may disable cookies via browser settings, but this may affect service functionality.

③ We may also collect device-related data (device IDs, IP addresses, location data, usage logs, etc.) using analytical tools to analyze service usage and improve the site.

We respond promptly to requests regarding retained personal data (e.g., notification of purpose of use, disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use, and disclosure of records of third-party provision). Requests are handled after confirming the identity of the requester or their agent, within a reasonable time and scope.

12. Method of requesting disclosure, etc.

Please contact the Inquiry Desk listed below. We will send you the required form by post, fax, or email. Once completed, please send it along with the required documents via mail or email. (Mailing costs are borne by the requester.) After identity verification, we will respond in the requested method.

13. Security measures for personal information

We manage personal information rigorously based on a personal information protection policy compliant with JIS Q 15001. To ensure proper handling, we implement organizational, personnel, physical, and technical safety control measures.
