GESHER, Inc. (CEO: Yohei Harada, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter "GESHER") has signed a distribution agreement with Dcard Holdings Ltd. (CEO: Ivan Lin, Headquarters: Taiwan, hereinafter "Dcard"), which operates a social media platform aimed at Taiwanese youth. As the exclusive sales partner of Dcard ads in Japan (*1), we will support everything from ad placement to campaign management.

GESHER's digital marketing business actively supports digital advertising both domestically and overseas. We believe that local media in each country, which can reach users that major digital platforms cannot, are crucial for digital promotion of Japanese companies expanding abroad.

GESHER has signed a distribution agreement with Dcard, which is used mainly by young people in their 20s and 30s in Taiwan.

By strengthening portfolio of not only major platforms but also local media placements, we aim to further support overseas promotion.

Dcard

Dcard is a popular social media platform in Taiwan that started in 2011. Initially, only students attending universities in Taiwan could use the service, but now anyone with a Taiwanese national ID can register. Over 80% of users are under 30 years old, and the number of monthly active users exceeds 18 million.

Dcard is characterized by the user being able to be anonymous and that all user posts are public to everyone. It is used for discussions and gathering information on bulletin boards categorized into topics such as "Gourmet" and "Fashion."
