It was noted by “Open Innovation – The NewImperative for Creating and Profiting from Technology” published by Henry Chesbrow, a professor at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Management. It means intentionally and actively entering the market by utilizing exchanges of internal and external technologies and ideas. The opposite is Closed Innovation, simply put, self-spontocracy. It is often thought that there is a limit in the self-spontocism that has been favored so far, and the concept of open innovation is the mainstream, especially in innovation creation and new business markets.
